It was soon after that I was introduced to a Gold Dragon I thought that he was a friend of fathers. Shortly after that, father once more was off to find SunGazer. Garis began to take me to see "Grandfather" out of respect I though, but I now realize that he was indeed my Mother's father. He taught me my magic, other words of wisdom and my love of music. When I was 19 in the age of humans, I was getting in ever increasing trouble as only 19 year old with a little knowledge of magic could get into.
My brothers decided to send me to a bard college as I showed some interest and talent. They also thought as a female that a little culture wouldn't and couldn't hurt. They failed to realize that at the time females in bard colleges were looked down upon. But I had a true calling, a deeper love of music than many that were there and the Master's kept me there, and I'm sure that the Gold that lined their coffers from Forest Mountain didn't hurt. I learned rapidly and left a Journeyman Bard.
Upon leaving the college I ventured to Rhydin. I had been in Rhydin for about a two weeks getting very discouraged, as it seemed the population of Rhydin had no musical appreciate. I had made up my mind that if I was unable to earn my supper one more night I was going to move on. Late that night I wandered into the Red Dragon Inn and played for a small crowd, and met Stalker De La Chat. We struck up a conversation and he gave me instructions to call upon his wife, who was the co~owner of the Dark Horse Tavern.
I was summoned to meet his wife and found that she was the High Princess Shyanne Myst Shi`nise-DeFrye De La Chat. Yes a princess.
You will find in Rhydin royalty tends to get bored and try to act like "regular people". But, I came to know her and her best friend, Stalkers sister, Arimis DuMort. I was a little scared at first, as usually journeyman bards do not play for the higher nobility, but I got to know her and Arimis and they became my closest friends. We had a few adventures, a few fights.... But I became the
Princess's bard and resident bard of the Dark Horse.
It was during my first days at the DHT that I discovered the awakening dragon in me. I was becoming increasingly surly, combative and very unpleasant to be around. Arimis bless the Goddess. :::chuckles softly::: (and Ari, just quit rolling your eyes) helped me to search in myself and discover that I was also dragon. You should know at this point it isn't easy to discover this, it was very confusing and scary. But, I was eventually led to Sanctuary that is another chapter of my tale.

It was during this turmoil that my brother Tiyagaris came to Rhydin to bring me my sword, or so he said. He knew that I was a dragon, as grandfather explained it to him, but didn't tell me as he was told that when I was ready a teacher would appear.
