Born on the second month, 14th day in the year of the dragon, to an Elven father and a Gypsy mother. Or so we thought. Dariq IronWood and SunGazer had a wild and wondrous affair. I was the result, and though they were not married, the IronWood's and Forest Mountain Hold rejoiced as I was the first IronWood female born in seven Elven generations. The morning after my birth my father was awaken to my cries. Two things were discovered. One, SunGazer was gone, nowhere to be found, and two, upon my left ear there was a golden dragon earring. Father attempted to remove it, found it could not be, and much to his disquiet, my three brothers and his self were marked with the same earring.
None could explain at the time where or how they came to be. My father appointed my brother Tiyagaris as my guardian, turned over the reigns of power of Forest Mountain Hold to him, and went in search of his Gypsy lover. He came back to Forest Mountain often to look in on my brothers and me but continues to search for SunGazer to this very day. Tiyagaris, Vorzheva and Ivan did their best to raise me. I began training at an early age as a Ranger.
Some time in my 9th year, I was out with my father in the forest when I
wandered away. I was a very curious child and when I discovered that I was
no longer with my father and found myself surround by Orc's. In my panic, I
screamed both verbally and mentally. Before my screams could die, my
brothers 3 and father were doing battle with the Orcs surrounding me.
Now understand you, my brothers were at Forest Mountain, a 3-day walk away when I screamed. At that point they figured that there was something different about me. Everyone except Ivan handled it fairly well. I now understand why Ivan was spooked so badly; it seems I pulled him from his favorite sport at the time. Sorry Ivan and you too Linde, had I but known. ::smirk upon her face::
